San Gimiganno: Pliocene origin soil with sandy texture and stone-rich with small calcareous clusters.
Cultivation Method: Guyot
Vine Variety: 90% Sangiovese and 10% of other authorized red berry- vines varieties
Colour: bright ruby red, becoming gradually garnet while aging
Odour: intensively winey and fruity with scents of violet and marasca cherry
Taste: dry, harmonic, flavorous, slightly tannic that becomes more velvety and smoother overtime
